In Utero

This year I am taking a brand new show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I am fucking shitting it. Oh my god. What am I doing? I’ve never done anythign like this before! I’e never been on stage two nights in a row, let alone twenty shows. Oh man. Oh man. I’m excited about it, but a kind of “kill me now please omg” excited.

Boring admin stuff: the show runs for the full festival- 5th to 27th August 2016 (excluding Sundays), 15.10-15.55, performing at theSpaceUK @ Surgeons Hall. Tickets are £6/5 for previews, £8/7 Mon- Wed, and £10/9 Thurs-Sat. Buy one. Or ten. It’s really good.

So what’s it about? Well, it’s an development of Unplanned ( I pure love developing that eh), but it’s very different:

After receiving distressing news that their child will be born with an untreatable condition, Jenni and David descend into a pit of self-loathing, resent and guilt. Jumping between past and present, morals and motives are questioned as the pair desperately try to reclaim their happy ever after. Perfectly balancing comedy and tragedy, Fonmanu Creative presents an honest and frank look at love, loss and blame.

Cast:
Judy Alfereti as Jenni
Amir Tabrizi as David

Production Team:
Director- Euan Tyre
Writer- Judy Alfereti
Tech- Craig Brown
Media- Kathryn Ross

Doesn’t that sound good! I’m insanely proud of this play, I think it’s my strongest writing to date. I’m just nervous as fuck.
