A question I get asked a lot is “How are you so good looking?” A question I get asked less frequently is “How do you write a show?” My answer to both these questions is the same: I don’t know, it just happened.
Yeah, so remember how I’m a writer/producer? Me neither! It’s been so long since I’ve done any sort of script writing or theatre/short film making. Which is the actual whole point of Fonmanu Creative. No, it’s not just a platform for me to ramble on about my mental health issues and my love life- it’s actually supposed to be a company which makes shit happen. So, my bad!
It’s Fringe Season! The most stressful of all the seasons, including mating season.
It’s that time of the year where you see a shit load of shows- some good, some terrible, some great, some just…aye alright- and, if you are performing, where you lose your fucking mind.
So what’s Fonmanu Creative up to this fringe? Well, this year we will not be taking a show to the festival for various reasons (exhaustion, being poor and traumatised) BUT I am doing a separate show, as is Amir (star of 2016’s In Utero), and Stephen (star of 2017’s In Utero). Here’s where to see us:
Aaaaaand…. we have lift off!
Look at the banging poster. Look at it. Look. At. It.
Innit good? Artwork by cdmb media, what an absolute star. And as it says, tickets can be purchased here.
Unfortunately, I had to delete my last post about a certain nude show, and I am not allowed to talk about it until further notice. So sorry about that. Rest assured, I am just as disappointed as you.
Anyway, moving on, I’m sure you’re all dying to know what is happening with my vagina. Well….a big fat nothing. Ziltch. Nadda. Nae action. For those who know me, know my previous blog, or read my now deleted post, you’re probably just as shocked as I am.
